The NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity® is a premier reined cow horse competition held October 9–24, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas, where hundreds of three-year-old horses and riders from across the United States and beyond compete in demanding herd work, rein work, and fence work events that showcase the future stars of the sport. This longstanding championship event draws thousands of spectators and is considered a key proving ground in the reined cow horse world. It’s presented by the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) and celebrates the tradition, athleticism, and intensity of top-level cow horse competition.
