High Tail It! is a horseback trail challenge hosted by the Texas Trail Challenge Club at Los Arroyos Ranch (Lazy F Guest Ranch) in Smiley, Texas. During the event, riders guide their horses along a scenic trail that typically spans 7–10 miles and includes a series of judged obstacles designed to simulate challenges encountered on real trails. Participants are evaluated on teamwork, horsemanship, and how well horse and rider work together to safely navigate each obstacle.
