Family Nature Quest

Family Nature Quest at McKinney Roughs Nature Park is a hands-on outdoor experience designed to help families reconnect with nature through interactive activities and exploration. Parents and children can participate in self-guided mystery box stations and sensory-based nature play activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and environmental discovery. The program is especially suited for families with children ages 4–10 and promotes outdoor learning in a fun and welcoming setting. Held at McKinney Roughs Nature Park in Cedar Creek, the event takes advantage of the park’s diverse ecosystems, scenic trails, and family-friendly natural environment.
