The 2026 Cajun Throwdown at Bayou Fest is a lively spring food and music festival taking place April 10–11, 2026 at Mac McGaffey Highland Bayou Park in La Marque, Texas, featuring a Crawfish Cook-Off and BBQ Cook-Off where more than 40 competitive cook teams go head-to-head for prizes and bragging rights. The family-friendly event includes all-you-can-eat crawfish (while supplies last), a Kids Zone, a Bloody Mary contest, and live bands throughout the weekend, creating a fun festival atmosphere for all ages. Proceeds benefit the BTR Caring for Kids Foundation and support local community initiatives including the UTMB Pediatric NICU through the BTR Caring for Kids Endowment.
