VXV Leather & Crafts
Good leather tells you something about the person who made it. At VXV Leather and Crafts, that person is Ian Varner — a US Army veteran and central Texas craftsman who builds everything by hand, one stitch at a time.
Ian works in top grain leather across a wide range of goods: EDC and pancake knife sheaths, holsters, spur straps, wallets, backpacks, fountain pen cases, and more. Each piece is handmade and hand-stitched, with custom options that include hand tooling, Celtic knotwork, basket weave carving, floral patterns, and laser engraving. No two pieces come out exactly the same — and that's the point.
You can find Ian at local Central Texas markets, or reach him through Instagram and Facebook at @ianvarner to commission a custom piece.
If you want gear that'll still be on your belt twenty years from now, this is where you start.
