Practice group leader Lynn Tate holds a B.S. from Texas Tech (summa cum laude, 1984) and a Baylor J.D. (1987) and interned for the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. The group's work has included facilitating a water-rights exchange in Hartley and Dallam counties to develop ranch land into an organic farm, assisting with the purchase and sale of the historic Waggoner Ranch, and advising Dutch and Danish dairy families. Tate's bio cites personal involvement in farming and ranching in the Texas Panhandle, along with cattle and livestock disputes, ag leases and FSA matters.
