Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences improves animal, human, and environmental health through teaching, research, veterinary care, service, and outreach.

For more than 100 years, the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) has been improving animal, human, and environmental health through teaching, research, veterinary care, service, and outreach. The college incorporates the One Health concept, recognizing the complex interactions between human and animal health and the environment. The College offers a range of academic programs including the DVM Professional Program, Graduate Programs, and the BIMS Undergraduate Program. Departments include Large Animal Clinical Sciences, Small Animal Clinical Sciences, Veterinary Integrative Biosciences, Veterinary Pathobiology, and Veterinary Physiology & Pharmacology.The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital provides clinical services. Centers, Institutes, & Initiatives include the Center for Educational Technologies, Michael E. Debakey Institute for Comparative Cardiovascular Science & Biomedical Devices, International Programs, Schubot Center for Avian Health, Stevenson Companion Animal Life-Care Center, Texas A&M Global One Health, Texas A&M Institute for Preclinical Studies, Texas A&M Veterinary Emergency Team, and Winnie Carter Wildlife Center.
