Swift Water Supply Corporation

Swift Water Supply Corporation was established in 1964 and serves communities such as Martinsville, Swift, and Shady Grove. Starting with 160 stockholders, it now has over 900. The company has 11 facilities. Plant 14 is under construction and will have two wells to better serve customers. The first board of directors met in 1964 and approved the Swift Water Supply Corporation name. The first Manager/Operator was TU Fuller, who started in 1964 and retired in 1986. Tom Randall followed as Manager/Operator until he retired from full time in January 2017. Nancy Randall has been a part of Swift WSC since it began in 1964, working full time in 1977 until she retired in December 2021. Lance Randall was hired in 2004 and retired December 2021.
