Spur Arena
The 1st Community Federal Credit Union Spur Arena, opened on June 13, 2002, is an indoor facility funded by a half-cent sales tax. It is designed to grow the Association's economic impact for the city. The arena is a climate-controlled facility suitable for various events, including rodeos, tennis matches, ropings, concerts, livestock, and cutting horse shows. It is considered a premier equine facility, hosting top equine events annually. The facility includes 83,160 square feet, dimensions of 252' x 330', arena sizes of 155' x 330' (without chutes) and 135' x 270' (with chutes), bucking/roping chutes of 60' x 330', 956 regular chair seats, 12 handicap accessible seats with 12 companion seats, covered warm-up areas, a ticket office, exhibit space, Kiser and Parma arena maintenance equipment, 90+ RV spaces, an upstairs private club with a bar, a concession area, 262 permanent horse stalls, and 140 portable horse stalls.
