Slow Twist

Slow Twist Equestrian, located in Hempstead, Texas, is a full-service equestrian facility that provides boarding, lessons, and training. They offer top-quality care for horses and riders, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment for people and horses of all ages and disciplines. Lessons are provided by a team of instructors and include horsemanship, hunter/jumpers, dressage, eventing, vaulting, and Pony Club. Slow Twist offers weekly programs and scheduled week-to-week lessons. They also offer fitness and health coaching designed to improve stamina, balance, core strength, suppleness, symmetry, and posture. Additionally, they provide journaling to help riders track habits, behavior patterns, and techniques. Slow Twist also offers blanket cleaning and repair services and sells equestrian goods and supplies, including tote bags, purses, and custom bags. Meredith Duggar founded the Slow Twist brand from the decision to keep her first show horse’s saddle pad and blanket. Now each memento provides memories of each horse while serving a purpose in the format of an equestrian totebag. Designs now include tote bags, purses, laptop bags, coin purses and phone cases. Each design is an original creation made in Texas.
