Rocking J Stables

Rocking J Stables, located in Garland, Texas, is a family-owned and operated business that provides riding lessons in the English Hunter/Jumper and Western Pleasure disciplines. The stables are situated on a nine-acre property with three pastures and a creek. The lit arena is suited for Western and English riding, including jumping and training for beginners to intermediates. Jumps and barrels are available in the 200' x 80' arena. The facility also includes a wash rack, hay loft, and tack room. Lessons are available for beginner to advanced level riders (both children and adults). Group lessons are available to riders who can groom and tack their horse and control the horse at a walk and trot. New hunter/jumper students must take a private lesson for assessment to determine private or group lessons going forward. The "J" in Rocking J Stables stands for "Jude," Anne's first horse. The stables has an on-site manager with more than 25 years of experience caring for horses. Special events like birthday parties and picnics can be held at Rocking J Stables.
