Rising M Horsemanship

Rising M Horsemanship, located in Central TX, offers foundational horsemanship-based training and lessons. Gracie Moreland, the instructor, aims to "do right" by horses and their humans, striving to create peaceful, willing, and athletic equine partners. She focuses on riding the horse in a biomechanically advantageous way that works with the horse's nature and mind. Gracie also aims to give owners an understanding of their horse's mind and body through foundational horsemanship, fostering a strong partnership between horse and rider. Gracie has been riding horses for over 15 years and has been a part of the equine industry for almost 8. She successfully placed in multiple world championship shows and finished Zone 4 Novice Youth Champion in 2018. Gracie also spent her summers as an assistant trainer. After graduating with honors in Equine Science in December 2024, she was offered a job as a trainer back at Graymar Farms. Rising M Horsemanship offers groundwork, problem-solving, horsemanship, and lessons to those of all ages. While Gracie primarily rides western, the horsemanship taught can translate to all disciplines. She aims to create balanced, confident riders who can be a reliable partner to their horse.
