REACH Therapeutic Riding Center aims to improve the health, increase confidence, and promote independence for individuals with special needs through the use of horses. Established in 2008, REACH offers therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, veteran programs, and equine-facilitated learning. The center is a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International Premier Accredited Center. REACH's mission is supported by donors and volunteers. Larry Barnett founded REACH Therapeutic Riding Center and started the Equine Service for Heroes program, also known as Horses for Warriors. Shannon Smith is the Executive Director. The organization provides services to children with autism, physically challenged riders, and veterans.
