Public Steel Inc., established in 1948, is a third-generation family-owned structural steel fabricator located in Amarillo, TX. Specializing in commercial construction throughout the Tri-State Region, they utilize skilled welders and heavy machinery, including CNC fabrication equipment, to produce a variety of custom steel products. Public Steel maintains a warehouse operation within its 115,000-square-foot facility, offering a full range of stock structural steel shapes, sheets, plates, and reinforcing steel. The company was founded by Jeoffroy Manufacturing Company and later expanded into structural steel fabrication in 1972. Under the leadership of the Gleason family, Public Steel has continued to expand and is committed to quality and customer service.
