Oakview Equestrian

Oak View Equestrian is a family-owned and operated riding facility located outside of Rockwall, Texas. They offer lessons, training, and boarding services. Angela Bollinger's passion for horses started at a young age, leading her to compete in Hunter/Jumper shows and ride for the Oklahoma State University Equestrian Team. She has experience coaching and competing in various shows and leading an IEA team to a championship. Katie Hodson, the assistant trainer, grew up riding and training horses, joining Oak View in 2016 and becoming assistant trainer in 2021. Oak View Equestrian provides lessons for different skill levels, including evaluation lessons, private lessons, and group lessons. They also offer preschool horseback riding lessons for ages 3-6. Riders can haul in their own horses for lessons. The facility partners with County Life Montessori school for their Saddle Up Club program. Riders need riding boots, a helmet, and long pants for lessons. Optional items include riding pants, half chaps, and gloves.
