ManeGait

ManeGait, founded in 2007, is a therapeutic horsemanship center in Collin County, North Texas, providing weekly therapy programs to 150 children and adults with physical, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral disabilities. As a PATH Premier Accredited Center, ManeGait's programs are led by PATH Certified Instructors, supported by 30 therapy horses and over 285 weekly volunteers. Disabilities served include Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and PTSD. Programs include Equine Therapy, GaitWay to the Brain, ManeGait to Freedom (Veterans and First Responders), Carriage Driving, and Stable Stars. The organization also utilizes an Equestrian Riding Simulator for assessment, training and specialized therapy.
