Managing partner John Lovell earned a B.S. in Agronomy from Texas Tech, summa cum laude, in 1975; is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization; and has been named a Texas Super Lawyer every year since 2005. He worked five years on a ranch before practicing law and has handled reported cases under Cattle Transactions. The firm's current focus includes claims tied to the 2024 Panhandle wildfires, including the Smokehouse Creek and Windy Deuce fires, as well as a Condemnation practice for landowners. Partners Kevin Isern and Brian Farabough round out the practice; the firm is based in Amarillo and is also licensed in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas.
