Originally known as Texas Farm Products Company, this fourth-generation family business has expanded from its local Lone Star® brand to a global reputation for quality and food safety. The company produces a variety of feeds and supplements for cattle, horses, poultry, goats, swine, rabbits, show animals, pets, fish, birds, and wildlife. They also offer grains, milk products, protein, and fertilizer. TFP Nutrition, the parent company, is committed to animal health through wholesome ingredients. The company has a rich history, starting with M.S. Wright in Nacogdoches, Texas, and has evolved through several generations, adapting to changing markets and expanding its product lines. TFP Nutrition acquired CJ Martin and Sons Company in 1966, which allowed them to serve a broader range of industries. They have also made significant investments in their facilities, including a modern pet food plant in 1978. The company has received a SUPERIOR rating for its pet food manufacturing plant from the American Institute of Baking (AIB). In 2016, Texas Farm Products Company changed its name to TFP Nutrition to better reflect the companyâ ms expertise and focus. The company is dedicated to food safety and quality, obtaining SQF Level 3 certification for its pet food plant in 2017 and SQF Edition 8.0 in 2018.
