Lario Oil & Gas Company was founded in 1927 and has operations throughout the U.S. The company has historically focused on rate of return driven projects, discovering reserves organically through geologic thesis, land acquisition, and exploratory drilling. Lario has built strong positions in the Powder River Basin, D.J. Basin, Kansas, Oklahoma, California, Texas and Canada. The company has divested over $500 million worth of properties and invested in higher rate of return projects in the Williston Basin and Permian Basin. Lario's highlighted assets include the Bakken/Three Forks, Western Kansas, Permian Basin, South Central Kansas, and Oklahoma. The company has participated in over 1,000 Bakken/Three Forks horizontal wells.
