Idylwood Stables

Idylwood Stables, located in North Austin, provides a range of equestrian services. The facility is situated on 30 acres with coastal pastures, running creeks, and ponds. It features a covered dressage arena, two jumping arenas, cross country jumps, a hunt course, and a round pen. The stable has 36 stalls, spacious turn-out pastures, a hot and cold wash rack, an air-conditioned lounge, and on-site laundry. They offer boarding options with twice-daily graining and three-times-daily haying. As of March 1, 2022, all boarded horses are required to be in their program, consisting of 8 services per month. Idylwood Stables provides high-quality instruction in English riding to children and adults, from first-time riders to experienced competitive show riders. Their lesson program balances fun and challenge, utilizing jump arenas, a round pen, a dressage ring, cross-country jumps, and a hunt course. They also offer horse leasing options. Camp Idylwood provides a horse camp experience for kids, including barn chores, ground basics, riding lessons, and mounted games.
