Hoof & Hide LLC is a family-run operation just outside Athens, Texas, established in 2002 and focused on registering and raising South Poll cattle since 2015. The ranch practices intensive rotational grazing—moving cattle multiple times per day—to support healthy pastures, soil, and livestock. Their cattle are bred for maternal traits, fertility, structural soundness, and heat tolerance suited to East Texas summers. Hoof & Hide emphasizes low-stress handling and traditional stockmanship, with cattle moved quietly and calmly. They also offer bulls, heifers, and bull semen to other producers, supporting herd genetics and longevity.
