Holton Cattle

Holton Cattle Co. is a family-owned and operated ranch in Shackelford, Eastland, and Callahan Counties, Texas. They specialize in raising quality beef cattle for replacements, feeder cattle, show cattle, home raised beef, and quality bulls. Since 2001, the ranch has focused on Registered Red Angus bulls, females, and embryos, as well as commercial Red Angus and crossbreds. They also raise feeder cattle and replacement heifers from cow/calf pairs, as well as wholesale and retail beef. Holton Cattle Co. uses traditional ranching practices and participates in the Certified All-Natural, NHTC, and GAP programs. They offer replacement heifers and bulls for sale year-round and utilize genetics from C-BAR, Pieper, and Bieber Red Angus. The cow lines include genetics from Abigrace, Mimi, Stony, and others. They implement A.I., embryo transfer, and natural service in their breeding program and also have show heifer prospects. For 20 years, they have raised and sold commercial replacement heifers, continuing to raise quality Red Angus and Black Baldy heifers. All heifers are on an extensive vaccination protocol, with both fall and spring calving herds with a 60-day calving window. Replacements are for sale year-round, either open or bred.
