Ft. Sam Houston Equestrian Center

The Fort Sam Houston Equestrian Center is located at J.B.S.A. Fort Sam Houston and is available to all active duty, reserve, and retired servicemen and women in the San Antonio area. The center offers riding lessons for all levels of experience in western, English, and jumping styles. They also provide boarding, trail rides, pony rides for children 6 and under, and youth horsemanship camps for children ages 7 to 17. Therapeutic riding lessons are also available with a P.A.T.H. certified instructor on staff. Trail rides are held on Saturday and Sunday, and riders must be at least seven years old and 4'6" tall. Children under twelve must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
