Duke Williams Performance Horses, located in Texas, specializes in training AQHA all-around horses. Duke Williams grew up in Oregon, with a background in rodeo and ranch life. He competed in calf roping through college and in amateur and professional rodeo circuits. He gained experience under trainers like Kurt Pilman and Bryan Conners before moving to Texas in 2010. In 2011, he assisted trainer Brad Jewett for five years, which shaped Dukeâ ms all-around training program. By 2015, he launched Duke Williams Performance Horses, focusing on developing versatile, competitive horses for the AQHA all-around events. Alyssa, originally from Connecticut, began riding at seven and competed on the AQHA circuit. She honed her skills under Jason English, Tommy Sheets, and Bruce Vickery. In 2017, Alyssa joined DWPH, bringing her show-ring experience and passion for coaching riders to the team. The company offers full training that includes six rides a week, depending on the horse's needs, and two lessons per week. They work with amateur, youth, select, and small fry riders. They attend various shows and offer sales of show-quality prospects and finished show horses.
