Dream Catcher Stables Inc

Dream Catcher Stables Inc. was founded on August 23, 1999. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer charity organization. The organization aims to provide a place where people with disabilities can grow to their maximum potential through interaction with horses. Dream Catcher Stables Inc. is designed to be affordable and accessible to the people of Northern Harris County, providing a positive environment for persons with intellectual, emotional, and/or physical challenges or youth-at-risk. The organization moved to its current location on April 16, 2019, and added a pre-vocational pilot project in the school year 2021-2022. The organization provides therapeutic horsemanship, educational, recreational, and sports programming, including vocational/prevocational opportunities to at-risk youth and adults with disabilities. Lessons are held on Saturday and Sunday mornings, weather permitting, and are tailored to the specific individual. Opportunities are available for competition in special and inclusive horse shows.
