Deer Creek Stables is a training, boarding, and sales facility that advances the sport of Eventing and Dressage in Texas. Located in Burleson, Texas, Deer Creek Stables (DCS) offers boarding, lessons, recognized and schooling shows, sales, and training. DCS specializes in competing, training, and selling sport horses for eventing, dressage, and jumpers. The facility was founded in 2004 by Jennifer Burk and a group of investors and has grown to encompass numerous boarders and horses. DCS offers training programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of both horse and owner. Though focused on Three-Day Eventing, riders of all English disciplines are welcome. Training includes establishing ground manners, lunging to build proper muscles, and exposure through schooling events. Lessons are available for all levels of horse and rider. DCS has expertise in pairing horse/rider combinations, considering long-term riding goals, temperament, budget, and individual preferences. The team at DCS strives to schedule lessons to your suitability and time frames. Jennifer Burk is a USEA certified instructor (ICP Level 1T).
