Carleton Ranch

Carleton Ranch, located in Liberty Hill, Texas, raises show wethers and full-blood, registered percentage and commercial Boer goat breeding stock. Founded in 1970 by Robert Lee Carleton, the ranch was initially located north of Austin before moving to Liberty Hill in 1991. The ranch focuses on breeding Boer goats. The original herd was of Spanish goats, but the ranch started cross-breeding after the arrival of Nelson Mandela, a half-Boer buck kid. Carleton Ranch is a member of the American Boer Goat Association and a supporter of the Liberty Hill Livestock Association.
