Carefree Equestrians, located in Burton, Texas, provides horse boarding and riding lessons. They welcome horses and riders of all ages and abilities. The facility's lesson program is designed to develop a team that works well together both in and out of the saddle. Riders are instructed in the English riding discipline of dressage, which emphasizes balance and harmony between horse and rider, enhancing the natural athleticism of the horse, and creating a rider that is more aware of their effect on the horse. Horsemanship is a priority, and the care of the horse and responsibility for its well-being is taught to all riders. Handling a horse on the ground, from simply leading and grooming, to lunging, ground driving, and long-lining, are included in the lesson programs.
