Burdett & Son Outdoor Adventure Shop is the oldest gun store in the Brazos Valley, featuring hiking, hunting, and haberdashery products backed by "Friendly Country Service". They offer gunsmithing services from mounting a scope to building a custom rifle. They also offer CHL and Hunter Safety Classes. They carry a large variety of product lines that cover Camping, Backpacking, Clothing, Shoes, Knives, Lights, Lasers, Optics, Ammunition, Firearms, Reloading, Gun Safes, LEO products, Holsters and Cases. Burdett & Son has been the local Boy Scouts of America distributor of the uniforms, books and awards for the local BSA district. The business was purchased in 1982 and has moved locations a few times, finally settling at 1055 Texas Avenue South in College Station, Texas.
