Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area

Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area, opened in 2000, is located in East Texas and offers 1,850 acres of motorized trails for dirt bikes, UTVs, and OHVs. There are 27+ miles of single track trails for dirt bikes and many more miles of challenging trails for UTVs and OHVs, including a 16-mile Adventure Trail. Barnwell Mountain has primitive campsites, electric campsites with hook-ups, and premium RV spaces with water and sewer hook-ups. The park also has six cabins and five bunkhouses available for nightly rentals. The trail system was developed and is maintained by all-volunteer TMTC members. The trails are mapped and rated with signage at the trail heads.
