Animal Health International (AHI) is a distributor of animal health products, technologies, and services. AHI supports producers, veterinarians, and retailers with a wide range of products and solutions for livestock and companion animals. They offer products, equipment, technology and services for livestock, horses and companion animals. The company employs over 320 sales representatives and support staff throughout the U.S. AHI provides unbiased guidance, support for changing regulations, and cattle management software. AHI's history began in 1949 with a sundries store in California that transitioned into Walco International. Over the years, AHI has grown through acquisitions and mergers, becoming a major distributor in the animal health industry. In 2015, Patterson Companies acquired Animal Health International. AHI also provides systems for commercial producers through Turnkey Computer Systems.
