AmeriRace Training Center

AmeriRace Training Center, situated just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Quinlan, Texas, provides comprehensive racehorse training services. The center, previously known as “Benchmark,” is centrally located in the heart of southern racing country. Owned by two Air Force Veterans, AmeriRace aims for excellence. Managed by Jimmy “Scooter” Dodwell, former head trainer at Highlander and Diamond D, and a training team, AmeriRace has the expertise to prepare horses for success. The 80-acre facility features a 5/8 dirt track, 76 stalls, 18 paddocks, and hot walkers. Many champion racehorses have trained at the center. Legendary recording artist Toby Keith had several of his horses trained at the facility, with his entire stable earning millions in purses. AmeriRace offers breaking and training, layups and boarding for thoroughbred horses.
