American Council of the Blind

The American Council of the Blind (ACB) Thrift Stores, with locations in Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas, have been community hubs since 1985. The stores offer a wide range of gently used items, including clothing, shoes, accessories, home goods, kitchenware, furniture, seasonal items, jewelry, books, and electronics. Proceeds from the stores support the American Council of the Blind's mission to advocate for the blind and visually impaired. The Lubbock location offers daily sales, including discounts for seniors, first responders, military personnel, and college students. They also offer a free donation pick-up service and volunteer opportunities.
