Amazing Grace Horse Rescue (AGHR)

Amazing Grace Horse Rescue (AGHR) is a non-profit rescue located in El Paso, TX, dedicated to providing equine with a nurturing home, ensuring stability as they heal physically, mentally, and emotionally. They focus on animals that have suffered from abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The rescue offers emergency relief, shelter, rehabilitation, and adoption services. One of their notable residents is Freckles, a blind horse diagnosed with cancer in 2019 who is still living at the rescue thanks to the care provided. AGHR also highlights Muneca, who serves as Freckles' eyes. The organization also welcomes volunteers to assist with animal training, ranching, and fundraising. AGHR has saved over 1200 animals and placed over 50 in good homes.
