ACT Pipe & Supply, founded in 1976, is the largest independently-owned waterworks and fire protection distributor in Texas. They supply materials for waterworks projects and offer fire protection products and custom fabrication services. ACT has thirteen fully stocked waterworks branches throughout Texas. The company was purchased in 1989 by Harry Kirk and Andy Zizinia. ACT is located on 23 acres in north Houston and has locations in Austin, Bryan/College Station, Dallas, Ft. Worth, South Houston, Mission, Pharr/McAllen, Waco, the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, Laredo and Temple.
