Old Yeller Day 2025

Celebrated at Heritage Park in Mason, Texas on Saturday, September 20, 2025, Old Yeller Day honors author Fred Gipson and his famous canine character with a community festival. Festivities include arts and craft booths, food, live music, children’s games, a dog parade and costume contest, plus a free rabies clinic for up to 100 pets. A living history encampment and screening of Old Yeller round out the day of family fun and frontier heritage
