Thompson Hunting Lodge

Thompson Hunting Lodge, owned and operated by Chip and Mendi Thompson, is located in Zavala County, two hours south of San Antonio. As fourth-generation cattle ranchers, the Thompsons offer a 15,000-acre hunting area with a newly constructed 4,800 square foot lodge that includes 10 rooms accommodating 2-4 hunters each. The lodge provides private and semi-guided hunting tours and also has an in-ground swimming pool, a small fishing lake with a pier, a poker table, a pool table, Wi-Fi, Direct TV, and a commercial-style kitchen. They offer hunting for deer, hogs, and various exotic game species.
