Texas Specialty Veterinary Services, PLLC provides mobile in-house surgical services, offering specialty surgical procedures to veterinarians and pet owners within the primary veterinarian's hospital. This allows veterinarians to offer value-added services, providing surgical options for select procedures directly within their practice. TSVS serves the San Antonio, Texas Hill Country, and the I-35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio. TSVS offers a range of orthopedic procedures, including cruciate repair (TPLO, TTA Rapid, Tightrope, extracapsular lateral repair), fracture repair (internal and external fixation), Achilles tendon repair, arthroscopy, arthrodesis repair, medial patellar luxation repair, femoral head and neck osteotomy, amputations, regenerative medicine, and sporting dog or breed injury repairs. Soft tissue procedures include brachycephalic airway surgery, cholecystectomy, cystotomy, laryngeal paralysis surgery, exploratory gastrointestinal surgery, hernia repair, mass removal, perineal and scrotal urethrostomy, prophylactic gastropexy, salivary mucocele excision, splenectomy, subtotal colectomy, total ear canal ablation, and anal sacculectomy.Dr. Justin Harper, a graduate of Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, leads the practice. TSVS performs over 800 surgeries annually at veterinary practices.
