River Ranch at Texas Horse Park

River Ranch Educational Charities (RREC), located at Texas Horse Park in Dallas, offers therapeutic equine and nature-based services. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, RREC provides general services and events as fundraising efforts to offer free and discounted services to at-risk and marginalized communities. RREC was founded in 2003. RREC offers educational experiences and training in basic horsemanship and horseback riding, and also offers a variety of party options, corporate events, and weddings. Services include trail rides, horsemanship lessons, free 3rd Thursday community activities, and horsemanship badges. They also offer school field trips and group tours. RREC's mission is to offer a place where all individuals feel honored, empowered, and accepted through the healing experience of horses, animals, community, and nature. The organization has served over 100,000 children. RREC provides services to other non-profit organizations including churches, schools, and government agencies. Some of the organizations that have received support include Anna’s House Foundation, CareCenter Ministries, Kiwanis Club of Pleasant Grove, and Make A Wish Foundation.
