Paul Cates Stable is a family-owned and operated stable of American Saddlebred Horses located in Round Rock, TX, conveniently close to Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Hutto & Austin, TX. As the greater Austin areaâ ms premier Saddleseat training & lesson stable, they offer training, riding lessons, boarding, sales, and stud & foal services. The PCS family actively competes in sanctioned Saddleseat shows throughout the United States, but their number one goal is to learn & have fun! Riding Lessons and training packages are available and are individualized to meet each horse/rider needs. Since 1987 Paul Cates has professionally trained American Saddlebred horses and their riders to compete at local and national levels. They offer year round birthday party packages. All partygoers receive a riding lesson, and access to our party room. They do not offer trail rides, but offer group riding lessons instead. They teach â Englishâ style riding, specifically saddleseat, and specialize in American Saddlebred horses. They have lesson horses ranging in skill level from beginner to advanced. PCS offers riding in a safe, fun, and family-oriented setting. With their massive, lit, indoor arena, they ride no matter the weather. Riders are welcome to come early or stay late to groom and care for the lesson horses. Their lesson program is for riders 4 years of age and older. Many of their riders train and prepare to compete on their show team. They travel to both local and national horse shows where riders can show off their skills and compete against riders at other barns!
