Homeward Farms creates an individualized program for each horse and rider to help them succeed in and out of the arena. As a team, Brandon and Lauren use their different backgrounds to create a well-rounded rider from the ponies to Grand Prix jumpers. They encourage a hands-on, family-oriented experience. Their focus is on the fundamentals of equitation with emphasis on good work ethic and horsemanship for any age. Brandon and Lauren utilize tools such as challenging exercises/courses to develop the skills of their students, all while maintaining a fun and comfortable atmosphere. They are goal oriented and want to help their students achieve their full potential. They believe that quality care of their horses is an integral part of success in the show ring. They feed them the highest quality grain and hay and employ the best farm staff, veterinarians and farriers to ensure their horses are happy. They provide ample turnout time along side a well-thought out riding schedule to provide their horses with a stress free, yet productive environment for growth. Homeward Farms takes pride in providing the absolute highest standard of horse care. They provide full-care board, weekly lessons for you and full training for your horse maintaining a limited number of clients and horses in their program so that each horse and rider can receive the individual time and attention they deserve. They do not offer public boarding but do have a limited number of pasture boarding spots available. Homeward Farms competes at both A rated competitions in Texas and all over the country as well as local shows in Texas. They also offer lessons and have a great group of dependable lesson horses for use. They aim to create confident and effective riders at every level of the sport from short stirrup up to the Grand Prixs. Whether your interest is to ride for pleasure or to compete at the top of the sport, they will work to help you meet your goals. They often have multiple horses available for in-barn lease for their lesson clients who are not quite ready to buy their own horse.
