Golden Gaits

Golden Gaits Stables, located in the DFW area of Arlington, TX, provides horseback riding lessons, parties, camps, clinics, and trail rides. They offer lessons for all ages, from 3 years to adult. Golden Gaits specializes in Tennessee Walkers, Missouri Foxtrotters, Kentucky Mountain, and other gaited breeds. In addition to lessons, they offer birthday parties and photo opportunities. Trail rides are scheduled periodically during warmer months and are a natural progression for students. All trail rider participants are required to have at least one lesson prior to scheduling a full-day trail activity. These rides are more challenging and require the rider to have good control of the horse and be able to stay in the saddle for 10-15 miles at a fairly fast pace. Horses are trailered to North Texas destinations including Lake Lavon, LBJ Grasslands, and Benbrook Lake. They also do overnight campouts and events at Quail Run Stables in Azle, TX. Golden Gaits has a devoted staff of instructors and helpers.
