The Equestrian Center at Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) is a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of Fort Worth's Cultural District. Its location required special attention to its aesthetic appeal, as it is surrounded by museums, a convention center, and an entertainment district. The facility is part of the Will Rogers Memorial Center, which is known for equestrian and livestock shows. The Equestrian Center includes indoor and covered arenas and has a multilevel facility housing over 700 horse stalls. It is accessible by HDG circular stairs. The construction of the building had to blend well with the original structures of the WRMC, some dating back to 1936. A duplex coating was selected for all structural steel inside the facility, and a standard HDG coating protects all exposed structural steel outside the primarily brick exterior. The arena can seat over 1900 spectators.
