Dear Run Land & Cattle Co., based in Buda, Texas, is a family-operated ranch focused on breeding registered Texas Longhorns. They raise grass-fed, hormone- and antibiotic-free cattle known for heart-healthy lean beef with high omega-3 levels. Founded by Doug and Cynthia Dear in 2007, they expanded their operation in 2012 to include direct-to-consumer beef sales from their purebred herd. The ranch maintains a carefree grazing approach on about 30 to 35 longhorns roaming freely on their property. With their roots in Texas history, they are dedicated to sustainability, animal welfare, and preserving Western heritage.
