Captain Rock has over 30 years of experience fishing the Laguna Madre, Baffin Bay, Corpus Christi Bay, Oso Bay, Shamrock Cove, and The Land Cut. He accommodates anglers of all experience levels, using live bait, artificial lures, and drift fishing techniques. Wade fishing trips are available upon request. The charter service provides a 24 ft Blue Wave boat, rods, reels, tackle, bait, fish cleaning, ice chests with ice, and drinking water. Clients need to bring a Texas saltwater fishing license (if 17 or older), eye protection, footwear with good tread, and a plan for transporting fish fillets. Trips typically launch from Clems Marina, a short drive from Port Aransas and Portland. Options include half-day (4 hours) and full-day (6-7 hours) trips. Multi-boat fishing trips can be arranged for larger groups.
